Aftercare

To get the most out of received therapeutic treatment you should:

  • Drink plenty of water and herbal infusions - to help flush out the toxins that just have been releasedfrom the tissues
  • Avoid alcohol or any other stimulants (and that's include drugs, tea, coffee) for at least 24 hours after the treatment they will de-hydrate you and increase the toxin levels in the body
  • Rest after the treatment - to allow the body to heal and settle. Gentle walking recommended and a lights bath to allow the body sufficient time to heal and gain the maximum benefits of the treatment
  • Avoid heavy meals eat a light and natural meal as refined and processed foods add to the toxicity levels in the body and hinder the natural healing process

You may feel relaxed and tired after a massage or a beauty or body treatment.  Take care if you are driving or working.  You should always allow yourself sufficient time before and after a massage treatment to ensure that you are not rushing.

A soothing bath is a good way to let the body unwind is a relaxing bath with Epson salts. Approximately 2 (two) cups full is great.
